Nordic light quality – International standards

The market for LED light is global, but how does the international requirements match up with the unique lighting desires of the Scandinavian people? At the LED Conference 2016 in Roskilde, international experts will lay out the global work on stricter technical requirements for LED lighting. Local capacities will relate this to the needs for light quality in the Nordic countries.

At this conference, we have the privilege of presenting some of the world’s leading experts in LED lighting regulations together with lighting professionals within the Nordic lighting tradition. They will form a joint picture of the future of lighting, internationally and in the Nordics.

On the day we will focus on:

  • LED light sources from an international and Nordic perspective
  • Street lighting in general and specifically in the municipality of Copenhagen
  • The importance of accurate and relevant light measurements
  • Organic LED (OLED) – the potential and pitfalls of the technology

The conference includes a tour in DTU Fotoniks state-of-the-art LED lighting characterization laboratories fit for the newest standards within LED technology. Furthermore, get a free copy of Tor Nørretranders book, Light!.
